Business incubation has been a subject of interest for many years now. There have been many models implemented, some have worked well, others have failed well. Noiz Ivy has been a student and supporter of the work of the NBIA since our launch in 2001, and has, in particular, gained experience from incubators associated with Stony Brook University in New York and George Mason University in Virginia.
Noiz Ivy believes that, along with a strong ‘Career Academy’ approach to learning, our scholastic environments would be made stronger if an ‘Incubation Lab’ was included as part of the educational process. Education and opportunity should work as partners to inspire young minds to explore that which is possible when imagination, knowledge and practical efforts are combined to achieve goals. The future very well may depend on such a model of learning and achievement incubation, as the structure of our society is pressed to keep up with the increasing pace of technical innovation.
